My washer won't drain. Its getting error code 5E. It will drain at ground level but not at the normal sink level - it just makes a bit of a gurgling noise and kind of dribbles out a bit. So far I have checked the inlet from the drum to the pump for blockages, felt round between the outer and inner drum for socks etc, completely removed and checked the pump and all chambers for obstructions, and completely removed the drain pipe and confirmed there are nothing stuck in it or any kinks. I have also connected up the pump outside the housing and confirm the impeller blades are definitely turning - it looks to be turning at a good powerful speed too. Also if I remove the coin trap I can see the impeller turn. I'm completely baffled as I can't think what else it could possibly be. Any ideas? Is it possible an electrical fault is causing something screwy? Thanks in advance.
