WF210ANWXAA04 Samsung Washer displaying 'te' or 'he' error code

Hello,

I have a Samsung washer that is giving me problems:

I can start a wash, and about 2min into the cycle, it stops, and displays the error code, preventing it from doing anything else. The washer filled up with water before displaying the error code.

I was able to turn the washer on rinse & spin, and it worked for the entire cycle, and was able to purge the water from the system.

I have swapped the control board with another one I had around. Initially, the error code was popping up before even engaging a wash cycle at all. I've also replaced the thermistor in the unit.

Not sure what next to replace. I have another junk Samsung for parts that I can swap as needed.

Thanks!

WA48H7400AW Samsung top load washer fills with water initially and then not again

I have a samsung top load washer that when it starts a cycle it'll fill about half way with water, but then it'll never fill again in the same cycle. So it'll oscillate and clean a little, then whenever it drains in the cycle it won't refill. I ran a calibration cycle but that didnt' seem to help. Any thoughts?

GE washer E54

My ge washer GFWN1100 starts to fill with water and slightly starts to spin then stops. The water then drains out and the pump or motor sounds for 4 more minutes until everything stops. The cycle starts at 58 minutes and it stops at 54 minutes. I ran it on service mode and got an E54. The Manuel says this is a motor drive internal problem. Anyone know what to do next? Much appreciated!

LG wavefore agitator sometimes works

Hello. I have a LG Waveforce. It does this censoring thing in the beginning to see how much water to add (i think) and the agitator works perfectly fine. Goes around to the left then around to the right. When I start a wash however, the dang thing just sits there.

I removed the agitator to make sure no coins and gunk were down there, but all was clean.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LG Top Load Washer WT1101CW - Control Board Issue??

I got an OE code and problem with washer draining. I pulled out the pump and verified it was working properly. Then I measured and found it was not getting the required 120VAC supply voltage.

So I ordered a new Main Control PCB and swapped it out with the old one. Then I could not get the washer to power up or any response on the display. I reinstalled the original Main Control PCB and same thing - no power up or any response on the display. In both cases, I measured and found the display PCB was not getting the required 16.5v supply voltage.

I was suspicious (due to poor packaging) that the replacement Main Control PCB could be damaged. But am wondering now if something else is in play because the washer is not functioning at all when I reinstall the original Main Control PCB.

Any ideas and input would be welcome, thanks!

DV331AEW/XAA Samsung Front Loader - Drain pump & Spider Arm... is it worth it?

Hi! i have a 7 year old Samsung Front Loading Washer machine. Recently started having a lot of drainage issues... with the nd code coming on a lot. There has been a lot of sediment (almost looked like small rocks) in the filter... I spent time time cleaning what I could reach, including shaking the drain hose and ended up getting a TON (1 cup or more) of this sediment out... and now it drains ok, but the pump is loud.

I am assuming a couple things:

1) The pump is probably ready to be replaced 7 years in, particularly given that it was blocked up. I purchased a new pump motor and plan to replace.
2) The sediment, I assume is coming from a corroded spider arm.

QUESTION: If i'm already going to be taking the machine apart, should I just bite the bullet and do the work to put in a new spider arm assembly? IF SO, what else should I do while I am in there? Is all of this worth it??? I know that this repair, esp replacing the spider arm assembly, is not going to be easy or quick.

My thought is that for around $200 in parts, I could take care of the spider arm, the seal, the bearings, etc... and maybe i'm buying a few more years out of this machine??

Thoughts? Advice?

Old Maytag Leaves Clothes Wet After Spin

Hey guys,
I'm working on an old Maytag washing machine and I've run into a problem that I've never had before. After a load is complete, on all cycles, the clothes are still ringing wet. I would simply change out the clutch if this was a direct drive, but on these old Maytags I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any insight as to what could be my problem and how involved of a repair it might be.

Thanks in advance!

WFVC3300UC/19 Bosch loud washer on the spin cycle

First time tonight the washer started making a loud noise on the spin cycle. Only on the spin cycle though. Fills and drains just fine. I’m thinking it’s the tub bearing but don’t want to jump to conclusions. I removed the load and spun the drum manually and it sounds to me like a bad bearing. Amy thoughts? Worth repairing or buy a new one? Thanks in advance!

WFT1060EP LG Washer will not turn on

This is a top-loading washing machine in the intellowasher line.

At the start of a cycle, while it was spinning the drum to detect the load size, and before it had started to fill with water, the machine went off and the circuit breaker tripped. The power is now restored to the outlet, but the machine will not respond to the power button at all.

So far I've tried unplugging the unit for several minutes and re-plugging, and tried a reset by unplugging, holding the pause button for a few seconds, and re-plugging. No luck, the machine shows no signs of life when the power button is pressed.

Any help troubleshooting this issue would be greatly appreciated.

DWD-WD1353SC Daewoo front load door switch bypass help

Hi I’m in a jam and I need to bypass my door switch and don’t have a schematic to look at. Any idea which wires need to be jumped? I have blue, white, purple and grey. I need to bypass it till I can get my new switch here or my wife is going to shoot me lol. I put a new dryer in today and had to switch the door around on it and figured I might as well do it on the washer to. The switch was going bad all ready and I should of just left it alone till I ordered one but hind sight is 20/20 I guess. Thanks

LG WT5680HWA UE unbalance error code and weird sounds

Hi All, well my 2.5 year old LG high capacity top loader has started with the dread unbalancing problems. It shows uB while running, then tires to rebalance the load, goes to uE and then ultimately UE and stops. A few things to note.

1. It just started out of the blue, the other day.
2. It seems to happy much more frequently on small loads (I read about small loads sometimes being a problem, but for our use, it's been ok until now). It certainly does look unbalanced and throws the error after trying to rebalance, wasting a ton of water in the process and taking on a ton of time to the wash cycle.
3. Larger loads seem to finish most times, but not always. Tub spins fairly balanced, but see item 5 below.
4. The first time the other day when it first happened, when I removed the clothes from the washer, all whites had a weird oily substance on them. The spin speed had pressed the clothing tight against the holes in the drum, and through those holes whatever the substance was got on the clothes. It left the dots in the same pattern as the holes in the drum. I wish I had a picture.
5. The machine just sounds strange now, weird, like a grinding noise when spinning.

I read a ton about this over the last few days. First, the nut on the bottom of the machine is tight. No visible broken parts, but I have not had the skin off yet. As far as I can tell, the recall LG had for UE errors a few years ago doesn't apply to this machine nor is their an open recall or service bulletin for it. Also from reading, it seems I could call LG and press them to maybe fix under warranty, but given the behavior, I'm thinking they will be shooting in the dark. I'd rather narrow it down on my own, or even just fix it on my own unless it could be costly.

I will say, but I could be wrong, that the tub seems looser than before. I'm thinking something broke or bent, and support is being provided, so it's wobbling more than it should be due to this. And that weird oily residue on the clothes. What the heck.

Anyway, here's some videos I took of the machine spinning. Sounds like a train about to jump the tracks! :)

Thanks for any help you can provide. I hate calling repair techs unless I have to, and if this is junk already, I don't want to invest much in it. 2.5 years old. What a joke.

The first two videos are the same load, the third video is a different load. Both loads were medium in size I would say. Bad bearings? Something rubbing? Broken?

FIXED: WT5001CW Bleach dispenser filling with water

I just had to replace the top on this because it rusted all around the bleach dispenser. I took a picture of the inside of control panel before disconnecting anything to be sure it went back together the same way it came apart. Got the top (with brand new bleach dispenser) installed and everything back together, but now the bleach dispenser fills up on the wash cycle of a non bleach load. Actually it shouldn't fill with water anytime should it?? It doesn't syphon out the way it's suppose to on a bleach load either.
So, what did I do wrong to make this happen? :wall: Everything worked fine before.

FIXED: WT1501 LG Washer, Loosen Feet Star type lock nut

I want to level the washer a bit more. I was trying to loosen the washer feet lock nut. The lock nut is a form of "star" knob with 6 or 7 tabs. I can't get a good grip to turn it with the machine resting on the floor.

Would lifting the machine off the floor near the foot help? Is there some form of tool to get better torque for this kind of nut , I don't want to break the lock nut tabs by improper use of a pipe or similar wrench. Tks

MHW8100DC will not reach max spin - clothes always wet and heavy

No error codes. Machine will not reach the airplane warp sounding max spin regardless what I do. Water drains properly and diagnostic mode doesn’t show anything but the spin in C08 never reaches the max spin.

Had two techs out. One said too much soap. Adjusted to 4x HE and cleaned about 20 afresh cycles. Second tech said he saw this happen before where unit will not reach max extract spin. Said change the ACU (control board). Did that. No change

Maytag support was of no help.

seriously stuck and don’t know what else to do but maybe junk the thing. Anyone help what could cause this would be great. Can not find any info on these Maytag maxima xl spin troubleshooting anywhere so am I the only one with this issue ? :(

WA48J7700AW/A2 Samsung unable to locate correct hex nut/flange

I have a Samsung WA48J7700AW/A2 top loading washing machine and the hex nut that attaches to the clutch broke. My repair guy ordered a part that didn't fit and I ordered part 6021-001573 from Samsung that also doesn't fit.

I ordered a new clutch DC97-15494E but the nut doesn't fit that either. I took both the broken part and the new nut to a hardware store where they verified they are not the same part and the threading even isn't the same. The one Samsung is sending is also slightly smaller. I have put in a ticket to Samsung but I am at a loss.

Does anyone have advice on how to find the correct part? My washer is otherwise in great condition and it pains me to replace the entire thing over this. Thanks!

In the pic, the broken part is on the left and the part Samsung sent is on the right.

Help question on whirlpool

I took the washer apart to change the bearings, shaft and seal. When i removed the inner tub or basket. It has plastic tub on the bottom and a plastic ring on top. The tub on the bottom is full of a liquid. Is this normal or is a seal or crack in it causing it to fill with water?
