I just got a new midea washer # MLV45N1BWW. How does the washer know how much water to add to a small load of clothes opposed to a large load. I mean my last washer had a switch to select small, medium, large. This washer does not have this. Fisher & Paykel Washer IWL12 inner tub floats too high

I just had to replace the bearings in my my Fisher & Paykel IWL12, but now when the inner tub floats up, it presses against the neck ring at the top, which is causing water to splash out the back when the recirculating hose is spraying.

I also just ordered a new diverter valve because I think it is stuck on divert and wont drain.

Hello,
I’ve searched through here to find some answers and I think I know the issue but want to confirm. My Whirlpool recent just stopped washing clothes, it will spin, drain and fill just won’t agitate. GE Washer stopped working

The other day my GE washer stopped working, no power. I checked out the fuse box and outlet, and they seem to be OK. Then I bought a new lid switch and changed the lid switch, still no power. I want to check out the power cord, which plugs into the circuit board in the machine. I want to test the current using a multimeter. But the housing at the end of the cord has 3 slots, one for each prong at the other end of the cord. How can I tell which slot should be tested against the which prong?

GE washer issue.

When I turn the washer on the "fill" light blinks and beeps twice. The washer will fill if it is on any setting other than "precise fill". Once it fills it does nothing. My first thought was lid switch, but I tested it and it's fine. I also looked at the motor and the light is blinking like normal, 1sec on 1 sec off. I'm not sure what else to do from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After a cycle is ran, regardless of how big of a load, the clothes are still soaking wet, I can actually wring the cloths out by had and get quite a bit of water from them. Hey guys I'm stumped I need some help a month ago my kids broke the lid lock mechanism while playing in it and didn't feel tell me so after I replaced it, it worked fine for a little over a week. MAH9700AWW no power to drain pump

My maytag mah9700aww stopped draining this morning. I opened the back and there is no power to the pump. If it matters, the washer is a series 18.

I checked the voltage between CN5 Pin 1 and CN10 pin 6 and it is 120v. It is 120 even if the pump is not supposed to be on. I have gone into diagnostic mode, and I can hot and cold water on, etc, but when I try to tufn on the drain pump, nothing happens.

Drain pump problem with a compact washer

Hello,
First time posting. I have a 2007 Soba Eudora Baby Nova 1000 compact washing machine. Yup, it's a European model. It's on our boat. The drain pump is not working. The machine is off the boat (we're in Florida), it's European 220 VAC. When I tested the resistance at the pump it reads 0.15. Is it safe to assume the pump is dead? I don't know what reading is acceptable since it's 220, or if that even matters?

Also can I plug this into 110 to even just test it or will I damage...

Maytag washerdryer combo washer drum won’t spin

I have a Maytag washer that is very hard to spin by hand. Sorry I can’t find the model number anywhere. The belts are fine and are tightened accordingly. Stopped working mid dry cycle. No power when you press power button.

Worn Out Drive Belt?

Clothes are kind of wet after the final spin, wet enough to prompt a complaint. I never really had a reason to notice how fast it used to spin during the final spin before the problem started, but my wife thinks it's not spinning as fast. Washer won’t spin clockwise

I took the front the my stackable washer off. I noticed after the tub fills with water, the motor starts but the transmission won’t move clockwise. It moves an inch and then stops. The motors keeps spinning the pulley but the transmission isn’t moving. Then, I can put it in spin and it will spin counter clockwise and drain and finish the cycle. I hope I don’t have to replace the transmission. I would just rather buy a new one since it’s pretty old already. Thanks.

AWS44NW Speed Queen Washer will spin but not agitate

I have a Speed Queen AWS44NW, when you turn it on all it does is fill with water and then hum loudly. I can turn the timer to spin and it will spin properly and empty the water. I replaced the motor and no change. I removed the belt and started it and it still hums, if I go and turn the pulley on the motor a fraction it will start to turn. Is there a capacitor I am not seeing somewhere? This is 2 motors that this is happening to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently bought this washing machine. I had to take the door off to fit it into the utility room but when I put it back on the lock (latch?) was up and I couldn't shut the door.

I called the supplier but they refused to take it back as I had taken the door off and I can't get hold of the local engineer they gave us a number to get it fixed.

I tried the release at the bottom of the machine but this isn't working either.

What I have tried;

1. I have removed Change from under the agitator.
2. I have replace the drive belt.
3. I have check the pump and all hoses for obstructions.

Washer Spins but Pump does not always kick in to drain?

Have an old Kenmore 417.99812990. It has been leaking intermittently for some time, today i noticed it went into spin cycle but pump did not kick in to drain so the washer spun the water out. (fool me once, i have water alarms to let me know immediately when this happens) That said, i changed it to "extra rinse" cycle and it began to spin and then the pump kicked in to drain.
