Speed Queen SWFT71WN trying to troubleshoot.

Good morning, everyone! Long time lurker, first time postern I have a Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum washer WTW8900BC0 approximately 7 or 8 years old. Current issue is that the drain pump intermittently runs continuously at the end of the cycle maybe once every 5th or 6th load. Wringer Washer?

Well, the new washers will just not work for me. Can't get pet hair off clothing and sheets even using the dryer. I prefer line drying and it saves electricity. So I am looking at alternatives. Anyone else in this situation? I'm 61 and manually doing laundry will be very difficult for me as I already have back problems. I'd love to find an old wringer washer or some other option. Can those old wringer washers be serviced? Should I just buy a $150 spinner, but still could use...

Whirlpool Cabrio WTW7000DW0 super load on spin cycle

Hi friends,
I have a problem with our Whirpool Cabrio WTW7000DW0 that is almost 6 years old. The washer appears to work just fine - it cleans the clothes. It does what it's supposed to do.

It's just that it's very loud when it's doing its highest spin cycle. Low and moderate spins aren't overly loud, but when it goes on high spin, it's so loud, you can hear it a floor away even when the door is closed.

Bosch washing machine, weird noise, trouble spinning

Water issues

Doing laundry with cold water only and do not need the hot water. I've disconnected the hot water hose from the hot water supply and wanting to use only the cold water inlet. when I start the washer, water comes out of the hot water side. Do I need to cap off the hot water inlet?

Weak agitation, spins fine Maytag topload

Wash basket and agitator slowly agitate during wash cycle. Spin cycle works as expected.

Replaced the drive motor because I thought weak agitation was the symptom of a weak motor, nope! Tested the capacitor, getting 49uf off a 50uf rating, good there. Removed/inspected belt, splunk

WTW5000DW1 whirlpool washer Agitation Noise

I am experiencing a noise while my washing machine is agitating. I have already replaced the wash plate, the splutch cam assy, the drive belt, the actuator switch and finally the transmission. Maybe one of the new parts are faulty but I can’t figure out where this sound would be coming from. Right now I am leaning towards getting a different replacement transmission.

I did not replace the motor because the spin function works fine and has no issues.

Any help is much appreciated!
