FAFS4073NR0 Electrolux washer loud noise during tub spin

Hi all, please see attached video. The noise seems to be coming from the top of the washer. It’s a front loader. Replaced the motor about 6 months ago but if I recall correctly the motor is at the bottom rear of the machine. This sound comes from the top front (from what I can hear). Any idea what it could be? Sounds like something electrical if not the motor. TIA.

New front loaders advice please!

Hi!

New here. We have a set of whirlpool duet front loaders about 12-15 years old. They’ve been good to us. Earlier this week, the dryer gave out and it’s time to purchase new.
My question is- I feel the appliance store salespeople are giving me the run around. Pandemic shortages are an issue for sure but I’m being told by one store to go with LG WM 4000H and matching dryer that’s in stock. GTW485ASJWS Not spinning heavier loads

GE GTW485ASJWS top load washer that is about 6 years old gets stuck in spin cycle with larger loads and doesn’t fully spin water out of load. Usually have to end up manually running spin/drain cycle to get it to complete.

Seems to work ok with smaller loads.

I’ve adjusted the leveling feet and that seemed to help some and machine doesn’t bounce around.

Any ideas?

Not dispensing fabric softener at all.

I bought a brand new Whirlpool washer. Got it home hooked it up works great but it doesn't dispense fabric softener. I checked to make sure there was nothing clogging the holes, and yes I selected the fabric softener to be on. We run tap cold water. Is there anyone that could help me figure out what is going on?

AWN432SP111TW Speed Queen Water Hammer

Hey all,

The water hammer was noticed almost immediately after washing machine was installed (Jan '15) and
we weren't really concerned about it. Fast forward 6 months and we had to repair
a leak in the supply line (buried, of course). We're now concerned if this hammer
can affect any fixtures that are connected.

I've installed hammer arrestors on both lines and that seemed to work, temporarily.
Speed Queens advice was to contact a plumber.

WFVC5400UC/24 Bosch 500 series washer drum rubbing against front seal

I have a Bosch 500 series washer model number WFVC5400UC/24.
The drum that holds the clothes and rotates is rubbing against the rubber front seal (bellows).
The problem showed up as the drum stalling when spinning.
I found the front of the drum where it meets the front seal was very hot, too hot to touch.
I removed the front seal and I can see where the drum has been rubbing.
It has been rubbing and has worn evenly all the way around.

Maytag washer screeching loudly during agitation

My Maytag Commercial Technology washer model #MVWB865GW0, type 589-02 makes an awful screeching noise each time the agitator reverses direction. When I tilt the machine back and manually spin the stator, it is whisper quiet. Please see attached videos. The screeching sound happens each time the agitator is working. It's getting louder and louder over time. We bought it in May 2018 and it is out of warranty. Any feedback is appreciated.
