Washer won’t start cycle

Last time it ran, it ran up unti the spin cycle and stopped. Now it won’t start a cycle at all. We have tried a delicate cycle and all it did was add a little bit of water then stop. Then we tried to use the rinse and spin cycle and it does the same thing adds a little bit of water then stops. I’ve tried one troubleshoot and that was to clean out the drain plug and that didn’t work. What I’ve read was it could be the pressure sensor or the drain pump. Can you please help? Thanks.

Whirlpool Cabrio Leaking like a sieve!

After replacing the sensor/actuator, then the door lid switch and door strike, I thought I was (almost) finished with repairs for the time being. However, I had noticed some water coming out from under the machine during previous repairs. Although it didn't look like a ton (at the time, when the machine was in its normal spot), I decided to take the back cover off and see if I could determine where the leak was coming from.

After pulling the back cover, I reconnected the drain hose and started a normal cycle. Everything was fine during sensor mode and with about 3-4 inches of water in the drum - then it started pouring out all over.

The only thing I can think of is that we had a mesh basket between the washer (on the right) and the dryer (on the left) and the towels, bedspread, etc. were absorbing all the leakage. Here are some images (hopefully) starting with the first leak:

After spending about $125 on the previous three parts, is it time to kick this machine to the curb, or is there a fix that this less-than-handy man can employ to stop this insane leak?

Thanks!

WT1101CW LG washer won't agitate load, UE code, refills, and wash plate loosens

Help!! About 3 weeks ago, my LG machine started acting funny. The wash plate started coming all the way loose and the "UE" error code began showing up. I tightened the bolt back down several times and it would come loose again after every load. I even put some lock tite on it and eventually ended up twisting the bolt completely off in an effort to tighten it.

It should be noted, that during all of this I noticed that the agitator wouldn't agitate the load. It would spin slow at the beginning of the cycle (balancing the load) and then when the wash cycle would start, it would rotate back and forth only slightly(maybe a 1/2 inch or so). Then the washer would try to start the spin cycle, "UE" code, refill with water, and then repeat, over and over again.

After drilling a hole and using an "easy out", I got the twisted bolt out and replaced with a new bolt and tested with a load....Same exact thing happened again(little or no agitation during wash cycle, attempt spin cycle, UE error code, refill over and over, and loose wash plate at the end of it all). It should also be noted, since this all started...the machine hasn't fully completed an entire cycle. Please help! What could I be missing?

WM3250HWA LG Washer leaking from door boot

I have a customer that has an LG front load washer and you can clearly see water coming down the front at the bottom. She took it upon herself to order the part and had me install it. Testing it went fine, no leaks, but put cloths in it and it opens up at the bottom again and leaks. There is a marked difference between the two gaskets where they meet the door glass at the bottom, which accounts for it passing the initial test. but she got the old part number, I understand there is a new part number out there but is on back order.

Has anyone come across this one before? Why did they change part numbers? could it be the hinges?

whirlpool F0 E5 error code

I think I'm running out of options with this code. Code should be unbalanced load. Washer seems to fully function in all modes except final spin. The drum will start to spin, stop and then try to spin again and stops. Water does seem to drain (none left in drum). I have changed the washplate, it was bad-teeth worn badly. Still had same code. Washer is level and all feet were on the floor. Still got F0E5. Replaced the suspension rods and springs, problem continues. Also, replaced the drive belt. Checked the drive pulley and there is no damage. When doing the calibration mode, washer vibrates violently--only time it does this. Finally, the last thing I checked was the drive pulley and the new belt was split and there was belt "dust" below the motor pulley in the shield. Any help out there?

GE Frontloader leaking a little

Good afternoon,

I hope that you are warm and well.

I have a ge front loading washer that’s a couple of years old (model number gfws1700h0w, serial number rd202939t). The machine intermittently leaks a small amount of water - by intermittent, I mean not every load. Not sure when it leaks during the cycle either.

Simply put, a puddle, the size of a quarter appears in front of the machine sometimes. When it happens, a little water is can be found in the crack between the two front panels. It does not appear to be from the door seal though.

See the attached pic with a single drop of water at the top of the lower panel. Any thoughts?

Additionally, as you can imagine, the machine has gradually gotten a little nosier since we got it a couple of years ago (3 years?).

Thank you.

Not spinning

Hello,

My washer and dryer combo has a problem. The washer doesn't spin. We've changed the engine and the speed sensor. I believe it'e not the transmission because the pulley moves in two directions when I do it with the hand.

What else could it be. It starts the spinning but then it stops. HELP.

I have a video of the engine move if needed.

WA456DRHDSU/A SAMSUNG washer drain pump always on!!!

Drain pump is always on. We ended up changing the control board thinking that was it and it worked as good as new for 2 loads. We celebrated way too early because on the 3rd load...the washer started bouncing, the drain pump disconnected itself (it appeared to have broken off before since it was attached with tie-wraps when we bought it 2nd hand with the same problem we are having now).. We reattached it and now it’s constantly on again.

Whirlpool duet washing machine diagnostic mode issues

7 year old washer stopped working while in spin mode. Error codes E01/F06: communication issue between CPU and MCU. Ran diagnostic mode. Started in C00 (which it should) and door locked ( will door still lock if door switch is defective?). Cycled to C01 and then C02. Stayed in C02 for 5 minutes and cold water valve opened and closed (water flowed) several times before moving back to C00. Wouldn't proceed to C03 mode. Re-ran diagnostic mode and tried to skip past C02 but it got to C03 momentarily before returning to C00. Reading wiring diagrams doesn't help much if you don't understand the logic of how the machine works, i.e., if MCU has failed or speed pickup has failed will the CPU logic allow one to move into C03 diagnostic mode. Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance.

HELP WITH E01 and F06 message on Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer

Any help appreciated with Troubleshooting my Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer Model: WFW95HEXW1. It stopped working during use and I have a E01 and F06 Code. I unplugged the unit overnight and tried to use it the next day. This time the errors were gone and it appeared to be normal. However, it didn't take in any water or started washing. There was absolutely no movement at all other than the clock timer started counting down. The error reappeared.
