WM2016CW LG Front Load Washer - mystery housing squeak-creak?

Below is a link to a video of this very annoying sound my (under 4 yr old) LG Front Load Washer is making. The machine is well balanced, the dryer is sitting on top and this just started happening. The video shows the high speed spin cycle version of it, and I am able to silence it by pressing my palm on the lower right hand corner of the front case, not with great force. Slower speed spin ups and downs, its more of a creak that echoes the more pronounced deflection of the drum left and right. It sounds like a bad weld that has come loose... no idea? Anyone out there tackled this issue already? Many thanks in advance.

Intermittent filling

My Kenmore 800 washer fills for 2 sec, stops 3 secs, fills 2 secs etc until its full. It does this on all fill cycles but operates ok otherwise. What part has failed that needs replacing.

Bosch Vision 500 Washer not taking softener

I have a Bosch Vision 500 front loading washer. It has not been taking softener. Otherwise, it works fine. I first cleaned the siphon tube inside the detergent / softener drawer. Did not work. Then, I did cleanup the water holes inside the dispenser drawer, but they were already clean. Still did not work. Then replaced the cold water intake valve. Still not working. Any ideas what to look for next? It is probably unlikely that the new part is defective. So, not sure what to look for.

WT5070CW LG Waveforce (top loader) leaking - and I can't figure out where

I have a LG Waveforce washing machine (WT5070CW - I think), and I'm getting a leak from a strange place (please see attached pic) when water's being added to the tub, but usually at the end - and it's a decent amount. I've checked the little drawer where you add your detergent (we only use liquid), and it's completely clean both inside the drawer and behind/under it.

Can anyone please give me a clue as to what is causing this leak? I'm honestly stuck, and I don't know where else to check.

Thanks in advance,

Siemens F16 Door Code

Hi,

My Siemens washer is giving an F16 error code which means door not closed properly. However the door is definitely closed. I have replaced the locking mechanism and cleared the error code but I am still getting the same error code again when I try to run a cycle. I can also hear that the lock is not engaging.

What else could the issue be?

Thanks M

Whirlpool WFW95HEDC Duet - Pump turns on, that's it...

I have a Whirlpool WFW95HEDC 4.5 cu. ft. Duet® Front-Load Washer which is about 1.5 years old.
Yesterday it started making rapid charm noises from the front panel and the display said Error (no error code). Turned it off and back on.

Now when I turn it on, the drain pump turns on and nothing happens on the display except the "Door Locked' flashes.
I manually unlocked the door and that light turned off. Now when it is plugged in, the pump goes on and I get no lights on the front. Tried holding, pressing, every combination of every button to get something to happen - nothing.

This happened right before a big storm, not sure if a power surge was possible?

I am thinking I need to replace the main board. But wow, that is the stupidest spot to replace. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions???

Maytag Neptune Code 23, Fails to Stop Spin Cycle

SN: A2952759CC.

I have researched this model and its many inherent problems, and studied the repair manual. However, my problem doesn't seem to correspond with the common issues.

The washer seems to cycle appropriately, and perform all fill, wash, rinse, and spin functions. However, it hangs at the end of each spin cycle, and does not shut off. It continues to spin, and hangs with 1 minute left on the display. The only way to end the cycle, is to interrupt it manually, (pause or stop the machine) and then unlock the door with the pull-string.

I have run diagnostics, and the only error code that continually appears is "23," which is the "door failed to unlock" warning. Indeed, the door fails to unlock, and that seems to be why the spin cycle won't terminate.

I ran the "short cycle" diagnostic, and had the same outcome. It hangs on the spin, and never completes the test, and gives the "23" error.

Please note: this model has a solenoid door-latch control, not a wax motor. I tested the micro switch beside the solenoid, and it appears to be working.

Any help you can provide would be very much appreciated.

F11 error and could not run complete diagnostis test for kenmore washer HE 3t

I have Kenmore washer HE 3t model # :110.44936200. After I replace new CCU, MCU and harns-wire, I run a diagnostis test. It only fill the water for the first cycle on the few second then the F11 will flashing. It won't go to the next cycle. I try to drain the water out by select Drain/ Spin and hit Start. It will drain water for few second the F11 will flashing again, then it won't drain. How can I fix my F11 code? Please , let me know. Thank you very much.

WF306BHW/XAA Samsung Frontloader Error Code ND

I have a Samsung front loading washer that began displaying the ND error code about a month ago. I cleaned out the pump and the hoses and that didn't fix the problem. I replaced the pump (after verifying power was reaching it) and that didn't work either. I finally called a repair person who looked at the circuit schematic and said that the noise filter might be a problem so I replaced that. The machine still won't drain. He also switched out the door switch to verify that wasn't the problem.

Now the washer won't drain or even display the ND error code. It just kind of sits there full of water, waiting. I just took a look at the motherboard and nothing looks "fried." So I really just have no idea what could be wrong at this point.

Does anyone have any idea of what else the problem might be? Thanks in advance!

WF364BVBGWR/A2 Has anyone managed to get a Samsung front loader leveled/balanced?

Bought this about a year and a half ago to replace my 12 year old Kenmore.

I've never been able to find the sweet spot for this thing when leveling, no matter what, at the start of the spin cycle when it's still at relatively low RPM and just starting to build up speed, it'll do a dozen or so rotations that will cause the machine to lurch a few inches to the left. Then once the speed starts building up it's pretty smooth, even at full speed you have to look closely to see it moving, it's that smooth.

There's also a thumping (not quite a banging) noise during these rotations that make it lurch like it does.

I googled this and some suggested leaving the back a bit lower, but that didn't work. Today I pulled it out again and this time set the adjusting screws as close to the body (lowering the washer) as I could, as they were about 1.5" high before and the initial shaking seemed to be getting worse. I got them all so there's only a couple of threads showing between them and the locking plastic wheel, and when I pushed the machine back in its place there is zero rocking and reads pretty well perfectly level side to side, back to front and corner to corner. Still, when it's building speed for that spin cycle it does the same lurching when it hits that certain speed, then smooths out. Even with it level the front of the machine moves a good 1-2 inches to the left before it smooths out. As before, once speed is built up its fine.

For now I put a foam block between it and the wall on the left side, that stops the machine from moving over, but I shouldn't have to be doing that IMO.

I was wondering about the shocks or dampers inside, but it's very smooth once it's hit a certain RPM, and it's also done this since day 1.

I'll try and post a video of it tomorrow, I'm hoping maybe someone has some ideas that'll help eliminate this.

thanks in advance.

Adding an external drain pump to washer

Hi everyone,

I have a washer located in the basement, and the lift from the machine to the drain outlet is about 8 feet. I'm concerned that this is hard on the machines internal pump, and want to add an external pump that would help with the lift. Can anyone suggest what type of pump I need and where I would find one? Anyone had any experience with this type of pump, if so I'd like to hear whether it works efficiently?

Thanks

Agitator will only spin when washer is empty

I have a GE washing machine that came with my house (unsure as to its age). I noticed recently that the agitator was barely moving. I replaced the agitator coupler with no success (the old one honestly was in pretty good shape). Both the top and bottom are failing to rotate, so the problem isn't the dogs. The belt below the machine seems to be in good shape. The spin cycle works completely fine.

The truly mystifying part to me is the agitator works fine when the machine is empty (filled with water but with no clothes inside). I've applied weight with my hands to the bottom of the tub and that doesn't seem to be the problem. I'm definitely not overfilling the tub. I was testing will a single small tablecloth.

When the tub has clothes in it and the agitator fails to move, I can rotate it and sometimes it seems to catch for a second before getting stuck again.

Please help! I'm so confused.

Kenmore top loader

I have a kenmore top loader that is about 10 yrs old and I've never changed the pump. I installed a new pump fsp? I believe that is oem and while there I decided to change motor coupler. I bought the upgraded one with the metal insert and found that it needed filed to fit the shaft properly. I didnt care for this but installed anyways. I also at this time installed a new set of agitator cogs. I removed the motor and blew out the dust with compressed air and reinstalled. Upon the first load of wash, I notice a very audible hum from the motor, never was there prior to the new parts. I thought it might be the new pump so I had another oem whirpool pump and changed it with same results. I replaced the coupler with the metal insert with a new old style version and still have the hum?? What could I have done by installing new cogs, pump and coupler to cause the hum? thanks for any replies.

WM2016CW LG Washer leaking at inlet valve

Noticed some water in the tray the last few loads. Took the top off and noticed some water coming out of the center valve. Is this common? Part is $23 on amazon, and seems easy enough.

Hoses looked good.
