Door Not Closed Error

Greetings. I'm a petroleum tech - I work on gasoline dispensers. Similar to washers with main boards, valves, motors etc (except petro equipment can blow up real nice). Here's my story;
I bought a Samsung washer, plugged it in and got a dC error. Door not closed per the user manual. Called for warranty service. They couldn't fix it. There's a door switch and a door lock that both ohmed out ok. The tech replaced the main board, same problem. The issue has to be with the wire harness, right? Does anyone have a wiring diagram they can share? I ohmed out the wires from the lock and switch through the harness and have continuity but I'm not sure if they're landed on the right pins on the main board. The Samsung ASC that showed up didn't have service manual. Can you believe that? Yes, I'll name names. It was Service Quick out of Hayward, California.
Nothing but respect for the master technicians here.

GE washer "LID" code displayed

I have the GE Profile top loading washer. It started a cycle then never finished. When I try to start it, it just says "lid". I replaced the lid switch and still nothing. After replacing the lid switch, I jarred the washer (mostly out of frustration) and it worked momentarily and stopped again. Won't fill, won't drain the water that got in from its short window of working time. What else can it be? the other side of the sensor is a magnet. I don't think it is the issue.

LG Washer WM3677HW - water not draining fast enough - new pump

My washer/drye all-in-one started giving me the 0E error which in the past has usually been the lint trap getting clogged. This wasn't the case this time around so I replaced the drain pump. It's pumping out water, but it's not doing it within the allotted 10 minutes which gives me the 0E error. My question is, what is the next part to replace?

Maytag Top loader Sometimes Won't Drain In Spin Cycle

I have a Maytag top loader washer that sometimes will not drain in the spin cycle. If you pull the plug, walk away from the unit for a couple of hours, plug it back in, and pull the knob out, it will spin, drain, rinse, and then final spin to complete the wash cycle. When you get to this point, you would never know there was a problem.

I removed the agitator to make sure nothing was obstructing its movement. I next went to the pump, removed both hoses to make sure there were no clogs. I cleaned the motor ground wire to the frame. Next inspected the two belts and pulleys which rotated freely by hand. I installed an extra lid switch that I had available. A few years ago I changed the Tub Bearing along with the inner and outer tub due to my well water.

I played with the load settings, from small to extra large and from 12 minutes to 6 minutes settings. If you use smaller loads and time settings, it will complete a full cycle. But it you put in an extra large or a large load, it will stop at the spin cycle. The only other symptom is an occasional burning smell at the spin cycle.

Looking forward to all suggestions on how to repair this Maytag washer.

Maytag washer, hot water in final spin rinse cycle.

In the final rinse cycle, hot water comes in instead of cold. Also, cold water comes in on wash cycle instead of warm. could this be a timer problem?

Whirlpool Duet Front Loader Pausing with Time Blinking

Hi All!

When you start a wash cycle, the water starts to flow into the drum and suddenly cuts off. The timer blinks for about 10 seconds and the water starts again for a longer time (not sure if this is normal). It cycles between starting, stopping, and timer blinking for about 2 minutes depending on the cycle. Then it starts to drain and flashes the error code F06. The cycle then ends after about 30 seconds of beeping.

I have unplugged it and let it sit overnight, no luck in fixing the issue.

Any thoughts on where to go next?

Thanks!

Best,

Main control board blues

In the past 7 years I have gone through 2 washers due to main control board issues. The first was a Maytag. The first time the control board had to be replaced it was 1 week short of 1 year old. At 3 years old it had to be replaced again. When it went up again a little over a year later I threw in the towel and junked the washer. Replaced it with a Kenmore and now at less than 3 years old, you guessed it, the main control board has gone up. I don't understand why I am having such problems. That being said, my laundry room is NOT airconditioned, and it does get pretty hot and humid out there. Could this be causing my control board issues? I know computer boards don't like humidity. I am getting tired of constantly repairing washers and having to buy a new one every 3 or 4 years.

Samsung Front Loading Washer Powers On but Won't Start

My Samsung Front Loading Washer powers on, but won't start.

Pushing the Start (Play/Pause) button or holding it down for a few seconds does nothing.

All the indicator lights all light up. I can spin the selector dial and choose a few different options, but then eventually the keypad locks up.

I've tried switching off the circuit breaker for 1-minute, but that did nothing.

Any ideas? Thanks
