Washer agitates while filling, fills after spin cycle

Hi,

I have a Kenmore Elite washer that has recently been finishing the wash/spin cycle full of water. It has also started agitating while water is being added at the beginning of the wash cycle (if the lid is closed).

I have already checked the water level sensor switch as follows -

1. Removed the tube from the switch end and blew air into the tub. No problems there.

2. Removed the tube from the tub end and blew air into the switch - I can hear the switch click.

3. Tested the switch for continuity when the hose has only air in it (open) and when I am blowing into it (closed).

I also observed the tub filling to the proper levels at each setting on the load size dial.

So I suspect the timer from what I've read online.

What are your thoughts? How can I test the timer on this model to confirm it is bad if so? I have attached a wiring diagram if this is helpful. Thanks for any help you can give.

GE Top loading washer only spins when empty....

My GE top loading washer model No : whdsr315doww does everything normal, fills, agitates and drains but doesn't spin with load....when run on empty does all as normal including spin.

In fact have started spin on empty and slowly added wet washed clothes (about 10) one by one in tub and spinning continues as normal..starting to spin under load feels like its at pain to start..cant seem to get momentum, tries to start with a jerk and rotates a few inches and stops..Please advise.

Need info for a Whirlpool dual sport front loader washing machine

Whenever it starts In spin cycle it makes this awful banging/rubbing noise. We have taking the back off of it and looked at the drum strut thinking it was that but it's not. We also put a new seal in it because it was leaking but that seems to be good but it still makes this load banging/rubbing noise when it spins does anyone have any idea what it might be??

MFL70-D1211S Bad Resistor on Inverter Board f/ Midea Washer+Dryer

Hello,
I have a used Midea Washer Dryer combo in a closet on 120V in RV with surge protection and 20 Amp breaker. Error E64 started after we used it for three months. E64 means "Signal between Main PCB and Inverter PCB abnormal". I removed the inverter board and found a burned / blown out thermal resistor. I cannot tell the type or specs, so I'm not sure how to replace it. Midea said replacement parts were designed and made in China. Midea has replacement for $135. I found replacement part on Google search with a 820 Ohm resistor in place of the thermal resistor.

The resistor is in parallel between the relay and rectifier and in parallel with transformer and rectifier. I think the replacement resistor is a 4 band Grey/Red/Brown/Gold, but I do not know what the power requirements need to be. If it is 820 Ohms at 120V, then that would be .15 Amps and 18 Watts.

I would like to replace the resistor and add a fan to circulate air around the W/D.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Tyler

WT1001CW LG Washing Machine not cleaning clothes properly

Hello,

I have a 3 year old LG WT1001CW that has not been cleaning clothes well since day 1. We thought that taking corrective action would solve the problem and foolishly we let the warranty expire.

Problem: Clothes do not come out clean. Sometimes it is the dirt the clothes went in with and sometimes is is a white residue with the imprint of the agitator at the bottom.

Correct Actions we took (and none worked)
1. Made sure water hoses were installed correctly.
2. Tried different brands of HE detergent
3. Tried using more and less detergent
4. Tried using different settings on the machine
5. Tried using different water temperatures.

Last week, we had a service call by a company recommended by LG. The service attendants could not figure out the problem.

Here are some behaviors of the machine from a load of wash I did last week.

1. The clothes do not circulate. Clothes at the top of the pile remain there the entire time.
2. When rinsing the clothes are never submerged in water.
3. Some clothes do not get wet. Parts of the clothes come out dry and it is not from the spin cycle.

Explanation of pictures from top left across:
Blue shirt with white streak across it (common problem)
Jeans with dirt mark. That mark was across the entire knee but some was washed and some was not.
The rest of the pictures from a load I did this week. The first picture shows how the small size of the load. The rest of the pictures where taken at different intervals during the wash cycle, including the end. You can see the clothes at the top remain at the top and vice versa
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you.

WF448AAP/XAA Samsung Washer Hose Building Swells Up and Builds Pressure

One of the similar looking black hoses that connects to a dispenser on the inside of the machine at the end of the washing cycle (when the machine starts to drain and spin) is swelling and building pressure. The tubes go into a metal box that says high heat. The dispenser is connected with a thin clear tube (the only one not black).
Its the hose that has a nozzle connector with a little rubber ball to it.
I opened up the nozzle to check if maybe the ball inside got defective but it looks just fine.

Please see photos attached.
Thanks for your advise in advance!

Maytag Washer - MVWX655DW0 - Stop Working on Wash Cycle - How to diagnose the problem and repair

Folks, really need some help with my 2 year owned Maytag MVWX655DW0. Just stop working last week while washing with water and clothing in it. My wife was able to empty the basket. We have unplugged the machine and re-plugged, and the sensing button continues to blink, the door latch does not lock and when you push the start/pause button it causes a slight humming noise- nothing else! I attempted to do diagnose, however it seems I may not know how to do so, I also tried to follow the history of this forum but didn't help, can someone also explain the diagnose step process in detail so I may obtain a code. Any other detail comments for the repair will be greatly appreciated. Thanks J

Whirlpool Duet F06 E02

Alright, we recently received a whirlpool front load washer. It's a 2010 model. An error code of F6 E2 was coming up. We replaced the MCU, and it worked fine for a full week. All of a sudden it starts doing the same thing, drum isn't filling with water. F6 E2 error code. I am at a loss of what to do, since we don't have a lot of money to put into this thing. That one part was 200 bucks. The only other thing I can think that it may be is the CCU? Does anyone have any advice? Does the CCU need to be replaced as well? And why did it work for a week and stop on us? We took the MCU back out to inspect, made sure there were no burn marks. It looks fine. My other option is to call the people we received the part from and get a replacement. Could it be a faulty part(MCU)? Thanks so much in advance.

Maytag Duet (Sport)

Please Help! I just replaced the Water Pump, lol!

So yesterday the drum stopped spinning properly leaving damp clothes in tum, also made a grinding noise while in spin cycle and generated pieces of what could be a hard belt. Clothing came out stained in the pattern of the holes in the tub.

I checked to see if the Inner Tub moved independently of the Outer Tub (lack of terminology on my part) but the are still firm with one another, and do not move independently.

Thank you for your help!!!

Pump drain filter won't close

Hi.
I had a major leakage from the bottom of the washer (front loader), the first thing I did was to remove the filter and clean it up.
I'm trying to put it back and I'm not able to secure it, I'm able to reinsert the lid but not the screw thread as if it doesn't fit.

I did a visual inspection of all the hoses and there is no blockage and they look in very good shape.

maytag washer wont stop once cycle is done

I'm working on a Maytag washer, i just replaced the shift actuator and now the machine is to enthusiastic, it won't stop once the cycle is done, and the cycles aren't matching up with the LED lights, It will do a wash while the sensing light is on. Could i have gotten the wrong shift actuator for this machine, or do I have a different problem? I ran the calibration mode after i installed the part, thanks
