I'm trying to repair an LG TROMM WM2277HW washing machine. The machine threw an LE error and then stopped working all together (no lights, etc.). Plugging/unplugging the unit and initiating the reboot sequence did nothing to bring this back. But about 30 seconds after with the unit plugged back in, I noticed smoke from the PCB board.
The PCB board appears to be 6871ER1003C. I've isolated the part that's smoking (image below) but I don't know what this is or if it's repairable. Here is a snapshot of the PCB board. The white part centered in the red oval is the piece that is smoking
Is this repairable? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
