Hey guys
My LG WM2010CW front load washer is throwing an LE code after approximately 20 minutes of running.
When spinning, the motor makes unpleasant electrical noises and visibly has trouble spinning.
I already swapped the bearings and looked for any obstructions in the drum.
The drum can be spun freely by hand and does not make ANY noise. The noise only comes when spinning "electrically".
I even spun the drum with a drill and it was extremely quiet, so I think it's an electrical issue.
I tested the resistance of the coils which were all between 10-13ohms.
I also tested the hall sensor which alternates between 0-10V when I spin the rotor.
When it tries to spin, sometimes it spins fine but makes noise and sometimes it locks up completely.
But it is not a physical lockup, it actually feels and sounds like the electrical phases are fighting each other.
It seems like it is electrically locked up.
Any insight you can provide would be helpful. Thank you!!
