My LG washer stops at the spin cycle and doesn't drain. Eventually it displays an OE error code and stays full of water. There does not seem to be a blockage in the hoses, as I can get the water to rush out by lowering the drain hose into a bucket. I have been trying to troubleshoot, here's what I know:
Any advice for troubleshooting this would be appreciated.
- there were two items (bra underwire and bobby pin) in the drain clean-out area, but not stuck in the impellor
- there is a rattling noise when the pump should be on (seems to be the impellor rattling within the pump -- should it be loose?)
- at the start of the spin cycle, the pins to connect the pump receive 140 VAC
- resistance of the pump motor is 15 ohms
Any advice for troubleshooting this would be appreciated.
