Terminating Connector for Thermistor plug in GE Washer

So our washer has been giving us the dreaded pause in the middle of loads. The time left stays at 12 and nothing happens. The clothes are still wet. I've tracked down a bunch of posts and I'm thinking it looks like it could be the drain pump, water inlet valve, air hose leak, or something else.

I took off the drain pump and cleaned it well. It was dirty. The filter was also dirty, and the water that ran out of it had a very foul odor. I checked the hoses from the wall and there was no blockage.

I put it into Service Mode and got error codes: E22, E23, and E66.

I also noticed, that the wires leading to the connector on the thermistor had came off. I'm guessing that is NOT how it is supposed to be, as I can see pieces of the red/yellow plastic coating in the connector. My question is, how can I re-terminate this connection? Is there a way to open up the plug (similar to a female keystone jack on RJ45/ethernet plug)? I've attached two pictures. I'm guessing this could fix the E66 errors.

Anything else I should consider doing? Thank you all so much for the help!!
