FYI: Sears Service Warranty completely rebuilt the entire machine... bearings, pumps, electronics, etc.!
Drain Pump motor is humming/spinning (also hearing a "clattering" noise), but not draining. Unplugged power & Turned off water valves!
Removed back cover. Drained remaining water in tub into bucket by lowering hose below tub level.
Tilted machine forward, then used auto jack stand to hold up...

GE top load washer - replaced shaft tube, new shaft squeeks. Normal?

I have a GE top load washer that was sounding like a jet taking off on the spin cycle. Reading here lead me to replace the shaft tube and the tub bearing while I was at it. After installing the new tube it squeaks a lot. The squeak is coming from the bearing in the new shaft not the tub bearing or the belt.

Is this a bad bearing/shaft? Will the squeak fade as it "breaks in"? Can I try lubricating it?

Lg washer molex connector

I have a lg wm3700hva that mice chewed the wires off the connector that goes to the module, does anyone know where I can get a replacement end with wire leads? 11 pin connector.

Hi, sorry to call you out but I've been reading these posts for days and Jake you seem to be the Man!
Anyway, it's the Whirlpool Duet Washer GHW9400PL4 error code FH.
I did the diagnostic test (after disconnecting every hose and filter and wire and cleaning and plugging back in. Nothing was even slightly dirty...although I found a quarter).
And the code happens about a minute into C:01 every time.

Whirlpool Cabrio won’t agitate.

My Whirlpool Cabrio won’t agitate. It does everything else fine, but when it starts the agitate cycle it just moves a little, not enough to even make the clothes move at all. And it spins dry perfectly. I checked the wash plate. All the splines look fine. I am trying to look under the drive hub, but it won’t come off. It’s metal, not plastic. Maytag washer while cleaning foul odor found rusted agitator shaft

I have taken apart my washer because it has foul odor. While cleaning I found the agitator shaft rusted and poor shape. I cleaned the smell but want to know if I need to replace this part before proceeding? Also what caused it so I can prevent this happening in the future?

Maytag Washer YMHWE201YW00 turns on at 1 minute no spin and gets stuck

Hi all,
My washer, model in the title, is permanently stuck at 1 minute, no spin light on. When I run it, it actually gets "Done", but when I turn it on again to try to set up a load, it shows me the same 1 minute and no spin light turned on. See image attached.

I already manually put water in and ran this 1 minute and the pump works fine, therefore, shouldn't be a pump issue. Of course i already tried to unplug the machine for minutes, even hours, but when i plug it back in, the same 1...

I looked through the posts, may have missed a thread. 10pm and fatigued...
Busy replacing seals, bearings etc on my washer. Sounded like a jet engine when spinning, grinding when washing. Dud upper seal which leaked onto bearing and thus, failed.
1. Gearbox, should I open up and put fresh lubricant? I cannot source oem, any other options? I have the bronze bush, and 1 small shaft seal. Rest was out of stock at Supplier.

Frigidaire stackable help

I have a Frigidaire stacked washer/dryer the model number is FEX831FS2. The washer will fill but when it comes time to agitate the motor will just make noise akd eventually start lightly smoking. Local appliance guy came out and installed a used motor he had and same problem. He told me I needed a new transmission. However I was looking at it tonight.
