I have a wm2501HVA and received a te error code. I purchased a new heating element because my model does not have a separate thermistor available.
After replacing the thermistor it ran successfully for 3 washes then threw the TE error again. I tested the old thermistor and at 200k ohms on a manual ranging multimeter I got .56 (which I think is 56k ohms?) If I drop it down to 20k I get an open line at room temperature (20c).
Is the old part within the correct range and if so how come...
