I have a washer that is displaying the "LID" message and will not start a cycle. What are the possible causes of this?

Wired loud humming noise samsung DW80k5050UG, rinse cycle only

When dishwasher enters rinse cycle it starts humming loudly. No other modes doing that: washing, draining, water fill, all good, but rinse...
Tried test mode, no errors. Specifically on step 3 of the test mode it inducing that exact looud humming nose, but there is no information anywere what exactly step 3 of the testing doing (
Please help to diagnose what is wrong there.

Speed Queen washer AWN632SP116TW01 excess foam only at drain outlet

Hi,

Seeking help with a problem with a SpeedQueen washer we inherited with a new house.

Washer seems to work fine, but excess foam is generated only at the drain outlet into the wall. The water from the foam seeps out of the outlet receptacle and runs down the wall, where its done minor damage to the dry-wall.

Every web search on this topic shows photos of washers with foam bursting out the top. Not here - we use minimal detergent, and now are using a "low-sudsing" detergent to boot...

LG TE error code.

I have a wm2501HVA and received a te error code. I purchased a new heating element because my model does not have a separate thermistor available.

After replacing the thermistor it ran successfully for 3 washes then threw the TE error again. I tested the old thermistor and at 200k ohms on a manual ranging multimeter I got .56 (which I think is 56k ohms?) If I drop it down to 20k I get an open line at room temperature (20c).

Is the old part within the correct range and if so how come...

WWRE6260D1WW Agitates but doesn't spin

My washer won't do spin cycle just starts making this loud humming sound.pump seems to work since I can hear water draining .On couple of occasions I was able to start it by hand spinning it right when I heard a click and drum would twitch .the lid sensor works as well,I checked it .cant figure out what is wrong by watching YouTube videos .my washer is about 6-8 years old I believe

Admiral agitator question

I am asking this question for my uncle. He has a Admiral washing machine model# ATW4675YQ1 and is wondering if the agitator is supposed to work during the rinse cycle? It currently fills, agitator, drains and refills on the wash cycle. On the rinse cycle it fills, drains and spins but doesn't have any agitation.

NEW Hotpoint dryer: HTX24EASKWS grinding sound

Speed Queen/IPSO Washer Problems (Two Machines!)

I have two IPSO coinop machines that need service.

Both are what look to be speed queen designs; almost identical.

The first one makes a terrible noise when in spin cycle. It sounds like a helicopter and it is super loud. The motor and pump turn fine. The helix is ramping off the lower portion and making the noise. There is no spin. I can also turn the intter tub and agitator a few degrees. Is this trans fried?

Samsung top load washer WA52M8650AV/A4 won't spin out, shuts down prematurely

Samsung top load washer WA52M8650AV/A4 fills and pumps out but won't spin. Also it shuts down completely after 5 - 10 minutes. Does anyone have a fast track troubleshooting guide or a service manual for this washer?
