The problems started with the wash cycle ending and the clothes in a wet pile on the bottom of the washer. I could get the machine to spin the clothes by using "drain & spin". The problem has progressed to not agitating or spinning at all, and not hearing any noise from the motor.
After reading this forum, testing and trying to diagnose, I have replaced the actuator and the Lid lock switch. This did not fix the problem.
Have seen the following codes:
F7 E6 motor fault
F7 E1 basket speed
F1 E2 motor control fault
F5 E4 lid not opened between cycles
Now when trying an automatic test, the lid lock switch light blinks continuously, and the test will not progress. However, doing a manual test everything seems to work but the switch test, spin and agitate cycles.
My next step would be to either replace the control board or the motor. Both of these parts are more expensive and I would like to narrow it down to the correct part before purchasing.
I have a multimeter, but am a novice at using it.
