I just received my brand new hours old LG washer. I noticed after the washer is done and I open the door that it is dripping a lot of water from this orange valve that’s on top of the boot/gasket. I wipe the seal and that valve, but it drips off and on.
I’ve never had a washer have this valve on the upper gasket. Did I get a defective machine, or is this dripping normal? I don’t want to have to go back and repeatedly wipe it up from time to time, not to mention any standing water could cause mold growth over time.
