LG wm2101h error code and water leak

I have a LG front load washer model wm2101h that shows error code FE (the "f" is upside down) and has a water leak. The leak only happen when the error code is displayed. From what i can tell it happens 1/2 thru the wash cycle and is intermittent. The manual says to unplug the washer and call for service. I'll unplug the washer for a few minutes and plug back in and everything seems ok for the next few loads.

Any ideas whats going on? Thanks in advance.
