592-49356 Kenmore Washer - What is this?

So my Kenmore gave me a tE error. I fixed it easy enough but out of boredom with the lockdown I thought I’d check the connections on the heat element. Put the machine back together and I’m left with this. I’ve watched numerous videos of the machine being taken apart and can’t figure out where I took this off.

Speed Queen washer not filling

I have a Speed Queen model #AWN412SP111TW01. It was filling, and during mid-fill it "buzzed" (like an electrical short) and stopped filling completely. I checked the breaker and it is not tripped. No agitation during wash cycle. The spin cycle does work, but no water is added during the rinse cycle. I'm assuming I have a bad mixing valve? Anything else I should check? Thanks

AWS44NW Speed Queen Washer will spin but not agitate

I have a Speed Queen AWS44NW, when you turn it on all it does is fill with water and then hum loudly. I can turn the timer to spin and it will spin properly and empty the water. I replaced the motor and no change. I removed the belt and started it and it still hums, if I go and turn the pulley on the motor a fraction it will start to turn. Is there a capacitor I am not seeing somewhere? This is 2 motors that this is happening to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK, as the official handyman of a retired lady, she has asked me to find a new washing machine for her… I’m by far not up to speed on washing machines these days since the last one I bought was from Circuit City in 2000 (Much to the chagrin of my wife. ) Anyhow, since there are a lot of great techs and just good, smart folks here, I thought I would pose the question.

Maytag Bravos XL Squeals like a Pig during Agitation only

Just replaced the full bearings and tub seal with a new kit. It ran perfectly silent every day for almost a week, and now whenever in the agitation part of the cycle, I get a noisy squealing dying animal sound. Here’s a video with sound. Any advice appreciated.

Whirlpool washer spins but doesn’t agitate

I have a whirlpool LXR7133JQ0 washer that will not agitate but spins and drains fine. This model doesn’t have agitator dogs, so the easy fix is out. The agitator sits over the spindle and the spindle doesn’t turn when it should be agitating. I can manually turn the spindle with my hand. The motor drive coupler looks fine, so it’s not that (and I wouldn’t expect that to be the problem either). I have heard that transmission problems are rare but I can’t think of anything else it could...
