Salt Lake Gaggenau Repair Service: WA400PJHDWR/A Samsung hall sensor

I was checking the voltage to the hall sensor and I Pressed the power button the washer shut off and the hall sensor still had 5v . Is this normal ? All the light and number screen was off . Thanks
